Lisa Marie Presley, who succumbed to cardiac arrest at the age of 54, was buried next to her son at Graceland Cemetery, her father's former estate, on 22 January 2023. After her death, a bitter dispute broke out over her inheritance between her eldest daughter Riley Keough and her mother Priscilla Presley.
After a months-long dispute, Riley agreed to give her grandmother one million US dollars and 400,000 US dollars to cover her legal fees. The settlement was reached in June 2023. In August, Riley Keough was appointed sole administrator of the estate. The actress therefore owns all of her late mother's possessions - including the world-famous Graceland estate.
During the family turmoil, Riley Keough announced the publication of Lisa Marie's memoirs for autumn 2024. These are intended to provide an in-depth insight into the life of the rock 'n' roll heiress and are based on personal tape recordings.
